A research team based in the Royal Victoria Hospital and Queen’s University Belfast
has taken on the project of identifying the key outcome measures for hip fracture
patients that should be used in future research regarding their perioperative care.

The 2017 AOTI conference will take place place on April 21 and 22 2017 in Limmerick. The overarching theme “Looking Back, Moving Forward” aims to gather perspectives of the experience of incorporating occupation into clinical practice and/or clinical practice, that highlights the positive outcomes of Occupational Therapy.

REGISTRATION: AF-Related Stroke: The Importance of Pre-Screening and Early Detection – Policy Series Workshop

The Workshop will be a half day event in Brussels at the Euroepan Parliament on 25 January 2015, hosted by MEP Aldo Patriciello. The Workshop will focus on the increasing need for pre-screening and early detection of atrial fibrilation (AF), and will feature various perspectives of AF-related stroke from a number of expert speakers.
